Mindful Walking

I also run a blog about mindful walking, also known as walking meditation.

Often taught alongside sitting meditation, mindful walking can be overlooked. Yet the simple act of attending to one’s body as you tread the ground before you is a powerful way to begin a meditation practice or deepen an already established routine. Walking meditation is both a bridge between the meditation cushion and the outside world (a tool for beginning to carry over mindfulness into everyday life) and a profound object of meditation in itself.
